​Level 1 and Level 2 classes are now available. If you are unsure which level is right for you please CONTACT ME. 

Once you have attended a few classes, ALL are welcome to drop into a mix of both TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY classes. Fancy some short form, playing some games and reconnecting with core skills? Pop into a Tuesday session! Want to push yourself and dive into the world of long form scenes and techniques, come along to a Wednesday! If you want to attend both, you’re very welcome.

PLEASE NOTE: Classes take place across two different locations, please check on your booking where you are. 

LEVEL 1
 

Level 1

LOCATION: The Bradbury Centre, Wokingham.

LEVEL 1, TUESDAY:
Learn improv comedy in a fun, friendly environment! No experience required, suitable for complete beginners, those wanting to brush up on core skills and techniques, or even experienced improvisers looking for a midweek laugh. All are welcome. Option to drop in week by week or book the whole block.
Classes TUESDAYS (18+)

- Learn core techniques in comedy improvisation
- Build trust with your teammates
- Gain confidence performing in front of the class in a supportive
environment

- Short form scene work

LEVEL 2, WEDNESDAY:
 

Previous improv experience recommended. Classes for those who want to dig deeper and gain a wider knowledge and range of improv skills. You’ve got the basics? Now it’s time to create magic on the spot. Learn to turn your “yes and’s” into hilarious and creative scenes. Option to drop in week by week or book the whole block. WEDNESDAYS (18+)

Dig deeper on techniques in: commitment, listening, character work, using emotion, mime and space work
Focused towards Longform improv techniques
Finding character points of view and discovering and playing the
“game of the scene”
Organic scene work
Narrative Scene work
Learn famous improv formats
Gain a more in depth improv knowledge

Coaching

Do you have an improv team and fancy some coaching to push you up a level? Or looking for some exercises and focus for your workshops? Sarah has over 12 years of experience as an improviser and even more as an actor. She is a co-creator of award winning, festival favourite ‘CSI: Crime Scene Improvisation’, and has played at theatres and festivals across the UK with CSI. 

She has trained with UCB in NY, Free Association and Hoopla Improv in London. Sarah specialises in longform narrative and has a special love of audience focused shows. Improv is the ultimate live theatre experience where an audience can have a truly unique experience like nothing else! (Please note Sarah can only coach in the following areas: Wokingham, Crowthorne, Reading, London (or any other town with easy rail access within an hour from Wokingham!)
